Camp meeting 2010 celebrating 30 years of ministry really impacted my life. I was in anticipation for what was going to take place at the meeting. I was looking forward to plugging in and being apart of this great event. I was ready to hear from the men and women of God of all the great things concerning God’s plan for my life and the River Church. Everyday day of the Camp meeting was awesome! For me it was a time of refreshing. I really believe that the word that went forth for that week quenched the hearts of those that came thirsty. I came hungry and thirsty and I was open for God to purify my heart concerning every area in my life that was not like Him. I remember instinctively the story Pastor Allen Baggs taught regarding the Shunammite women in 2 Kings Chapter 4. It was a familiar story to me. This was a story I had studied and taught on before in the past, but for some reason when He taught on it I felt something click in my mind. I got what I needed from that word. This was what I had needed for what I was going through at that time. When Pastor Baggs talked about how “it was well” with the Shunammite woman no matter what she was facing and how you should not let things affect you that come your way because we have the Lord who is our source of supply. I learned that I need to contend for the things that are promised to me. I needed to be bold with what God had promised me in His word. I learned that no matter what I was going through my response should always be “It is well”. When the bills are due “It is well”! When the odds are stacked up against me “It is well”! When difficulties, setbacks and uncertainties come my way “It is well”! This will be my song that plays in my heart to carry me through because I know that God is with me and He is faithful to fulfill all His promises concerning my life. I am so thankful!
I have two testimonies my first one is my four year old son was diagnosed with severe asthma and food allergies when he was 6 months old he was hospitilazied 36 times the last time is when i found the lord the lord told me to give him to him and give my life to him and everything would be ok and that is exactly what i did and i thank god each and everyday of my life for his miracles that he has done . My second is for four years i was diagnosed with a stomach disease they call celiacs disease it is a very serious disease it is not curiable but 2 weeks ago on a wednesday i went to church i was really down on myself and my pastor could tell it so he called me up before service even started and he began to pray for me and he told me to think no more of it because i was healed i came home that night and it was still on my mind and i watched your show and you said if anyone has a sickness put your hand toward the tv and believe with faith and the miracle will happen so i did the next day i got a call from the doctors office they told me they had some good news they dont know it happened but my blood work came back and showed that i didnt have celiacs disease i just began to thank god and praise him i love the lord and if there is anything me or my family can do to help out let us know please and god bless you and your family we love you
Ann was first time on soulwinning in nursing homes, she is 70 yrs old. Man squeezed Ann’s hand indicating he’s receiving Christ. Ann:”Awesome, people don’t know what they are missing! That was my best day in my life.” 105 got saved. Soulwinner 12 yrs old (first time in soulwinning, in nursing home); 2 people in room; lady nodded her head while salvation prayer, and her face was red. Staff member lady prayed and said my 2 friends needs to hear this- and prayed the prayer of salvation with all 3 of them and they thanked him. 40 got saved.
John motorcycle rider hit by car. Tara:”I prayed over him Ezekiel 16:6. Tra led him to the Lord while blood flowed from ears &mouth. He yielded, blood stopped. When ambulance arrived he got up on feet & laid on gurney. A lady name Teresa & man named Lamar prayed also. She witnessed everything. Prior to accident God told Lamar to go an word and pray. He was led to Hezekial being extended 15 years. After ambulance load John, Gigi & Tara. Myself, Rhonda won souls for Christ. On April 7th I witnessed to 12 people had 10 committ to Christ and 2 recommitt their walk. One lady answered the door ask who I was and I gave her my name and said I’m not Jehovah wittnes she said well I am and I ended up praying her into kingdom.
Darnell – Very receptive, rededication. Lady, yesterday – no one ever told her God loves her. When first starting to preach the gospel to a woman at an apartment complex, she seemed not interested. But at the end she prayed the prayer of salvation, began to cry and say, “I know you are real, you are not a fake.” I talked with a man, who looked to be 85-90. He said he had just gotten out of the nursing home, and no one had ever told him God loved him. After he prayed the prayer of salvation, he said with tears in his eyes, “thank you for caring”.
Parking lot: homeless guy was asking for money. He started crying “my sister showed me a DVD praying in the Holy Ghost.” After he said the prayer of salvation, he was very appreciative. 3 guys on strike (construction) all received Jesus. Talked to a patient, read the script he said no, he wasn’t sure. So I continued and asked him if he would like to be sure. He said yes and prayed the prayer. Yesterday at school, a girl was in pain because of her hip. I asked her if I could pray for her. So I did and I also prayed for her soul and she accepted Jesus in her heart as her Savior.
We started off with salvation #1 at Nordstrooms. Then 9 move at Walmart. We ended with 12 outside a high school at the site of a proposed gang fight. While I was leading some to the Lord, a police car with lights on stopped to break up the crowd. The people I was leading to the Lord told the officers that they were praying to Jesus. I confirmed. The officer said, “They better!” Man accepted Christ, 46 years old, I’ll thank you in heaven. Guy visiting mom – tattoos, piercings, wanted to start a new life. Blessing to go into Christ of Christ nursing home. Chaplain was not happy with script, but we persisted and he let us witness to 5 floors out of the 150 possible. We prayed the prayer with 56 very receptive residents and one staff member that sought me out to rededicated her life to the Lord. All I could think about was the ones that we would have missed. One lady just got moved to the floor and commented that she might have missed the change had she not been saved.
There was a young man (19 year) who said he knew he was going to hell and he was ashamed. He prayed the prayer of salvation and I told him I’d see him later in heaven. I went to Avorado St. and spoke with several hundred people, so now I understand how many people I can reach out to in a busy crowd. 1st time for me. It was very busy. AT the end of the day, I realized that I had been reaching people who only spoke Spanish. So for my limited vocabulary, that was very good. I have gained much in the way of faith. Amen. I went to nursing home and led a precious lady to the Lord who had so much joy. Come to find out that the nurses were baffled because she never responded to anyone or something. Anyway, they were amazed at what God was doing and I just thought it was normal. For the rest of the day, I would walk into the room and she was responding to everyone in the room and clapping with delight.
The TV was on this morning and I heard about the class that was going on at Evangel to learn how to share Jesus. I knew I had to come and learn and that my work could wait. I was blown away by how simple and easy it was to share Jesus. The Lord let me see 8 people pray for Jesus to come into their heart! My partner/teammate saw 10. So combined I was able to see 18 people saved today. More in one day then I have seen my whole Christian life! Praise Jesus! One guy had been shot 30 feet from where we met him, a few weeks ago. I knew God had a plan for him because he was still alive. He prayed and asked Jesus into his heart.
Prayed for 3 spanish guys sinners prayer and sang them a song. Spake with 38 people and 3 conversions also 12 people too busy I prayed for a young man that needed healing for back pain. I could feel the heat as I payed hands on his back. I spoke with over 60 peole and with 32 salvation. I have had an awakening in my soul. I had prayed with a class that accepted the Lord. 4 people and professor asked for prayerNH Encouraged people NH Goal 33 Got 33
